In the sleepy town of Bodega Bay, one hundred years ago, a wealthy landlord and his wife gifted their only daughter with a grand house for her new marriage. Little did they know the land was once filled with the dead as a graveyard. Once the newlyweds moved in, the daughter began to feel the presence of spirits living within the walls. Driven by her fear she sought help from her family who were amused by her suspicions and neglected her fearful imagination. The madness eventually led to her mysterious death. As the family investigated, they too were consumed by the house. The house became the legend of Bodega Bay, forever cursing anyone who stepped inside its walls.
When Doc Zee wrote the script, he had no idea his imaginary house was actually ‘real’.
Doc Zee and his crew took the challenge to discover the temptations of this house and document its spooky spiritual entities through cinema.
As the actors and crew stepped through the front door to a darkened foyer, all the walls and ceilings climbed high in a dark redwood milled from a single log and filled with items lost from the past. One actress dared to venture into the basement and frightfully discovered a woman’s cackle that sent her into a screaming frenzy back up the stair. It was undeniable that they were sharing this space with the undead, in particular, a little boy. While filming the intense scenes, this ghostly boy would cry out, turn off lights and slam doors in order for his presence to be known. There was a secret this boy wanted the crew to know. From the first day of filming, everyone knew that this house was possessed with screaming entities with tempting unspoken secrets and desires.
